Driver Magician 3.68

Driver Magician offers a professional solution for device drivers backup, restoration, update and removal in Windows operating system. It identifies all the hardware in the system, extracts their associated drivers from the hard disk and backs them up to a location of your choice.

Then when you format and reinstall/upgrade your operating system, you can restore all the "saved" drivers just as if you had the original driver diskettes in your hands. After one system reboot, your PC will be loaded and running with the required hardware drivers.

Make it portable. Include button to backup existing drivers, create a restore point and then update all drivers. BTW Does this work in safe mode ?

Have a 'current drivers list' side by side with 'updated drivers list' so you see both sets at once instead of back and forth between backup drivers and update drivers buttons.

Include a tool to back up the registry as well. Make it so that you can select what you want to back up or just do a full backup.

Don't bring in a portable version. Some people will always make that sort of demand, without any justification. In any case, there are applications you can use to make any installable file portable if you're really that troubled about upsetting your

be able to update the drivers by downloading new ones via the program... except it says it's not registered so this has been disabled. If I go to 'Register' it says it is registered.

You can only Update Drivers from the Top Menu of the running software 'UPDATE' option. This link works; the left side link 'UPDATE' doesn't.

clearly past posted ideas were people who didn't even try the product. FYI: Under 'options' you can make drivers self-extracting (EXE file) which addresses most ideas to make executable to reinstall drivers if your PC crashes, etc

Able to have 'Create new folder' when I clicked 'Started Backup' not only choose the folder that has been created.

This would be good if I don't prepare yet for Driver Backup Folder, so I can create new folder on the "Browse for Folder" menu.

To have the Update driver titles match the Installed driver titles - at the moment they don't match.

Please make a portable restore utility built into the driver backups, so you can restore your drivers even if you have lost Driver Magician on your computer.

add ability to predownload drivers before upgrading/replacing operating system.

Example: On a System running XP x86 select Download driver so I can update my system to 'Choose OS' - Vista 64bit etc. Also, update ur Intel driver info. The web pages at Intel have changed.
